A part of the curriculum, Washburne’s culinary students are exposed to the workings of a fully-functioning restaurant to gain a competitive advantage when pursuing their culinary careers after graduation. Students spend time in the dining room learning the intricacies of delivering superior customer service as well as in the kitchen to put into practice and enhance the skills learned in previous lab classes.
