Chef Daniel Lentz has over 25 years experience in the position of executive chef, for 5 star resort and international hotels including an Intercontinental Hotel in Cozumel, Mexico, Aman Resorts in Phuket, Thailand, and Registry Hotels Universal Studios, Los Angeles. He also has held the position of Executive Sous Chef at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, California, Hotel Hana Maui in Hawaii, and Stouffers Hotels in Oak Brook, Illinois and Mobile, Alabama.
Because of his extensive experience in the hospitality industry and leading kitchens around the world, he is often found discussing what it takes to cook professionally and pushes his students to learn as much as they can as they prepare to begin their newly chosen career. Chef Dan has brought his knowledge of food and love of flavors into the classroom which he shares with the students in his international cooking class on a daily basis.
Chef Dan is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, and Bradley University. He has traveled throughout Europe and Asia and stopped to work and/or study at the Splendido Hotel, in Portofino, Italy,the Ecole Lenotre, Plaisir, France, and the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park.
