Chef David Muchowicz CC, CHE, FSSMC
“Chef Dave” as he is known at Washburne, has been a Culinary Instructor since 2001. He has taught at Washburne Culinary Institute and The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago, where he oversaw the ASM culinary program. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Culinarian, Certified Hospitality Educator, and a Food Service and Sanitation Educator. Chef Dave’s industry experience includes Chef at the House of Blues-Chicago and The Art Institute of Chicago. He attended the Illinois Institute of Art as a student and won the National Restaurant Association’s Salute to Excellence Award.
